The GardenThey stood there together in the truck watching a movie like they did every night. All the day’s work was done and they finally had time to spend together, just the two of them. With nothing but the glow of Christmas lights, overused air fresheners, the television in front of them, and the few stars that peeked through the makeshift skylight EVE had once desperately blasted through the ceiling, WALL-E and EVE leaned in towards one another, hand in hand, watching the scene take place before them. It was the most soothing of situations, and although they practiced this tradition every night, they never tired of it.
